Printing to Network Printers with Local User Accounts

Matt

We have guest computers for temporary workers and we have
them logon to the local computer instead of logging into
the domain. I'm trying to find a way that they can use a
network printer and I've run out of ideas. Is it
absolutely necessary to have a domain account to use
network printers? Thanks. -Matt

Setup a standard tcp/ip port on each guest computer so that you can
print to the printer directly rather than going through a print
server. You will need to know the IP address of the printer.

How:-
You do this by using the add printer wizard and select local printer
don't automatically detect it, click next and create new port,
standard tcp/ip port you will then be required to put in the IP of the
printer
