Printing to different printers/different trays

A

Annabel Hurdman

We are a remote team of typists and one of our clients wants on return of
completed typed work to be able to quickly and easily send all one type of
document to printer from feeder 2 and others to print from feeder 1.

We use Word 2003 (11.8125.8122) SP2. The client uses an older version as we
have to save the work as type Word 97-2003 & 6.0/95 - RTF (*.doc) so that
they can open it.

The printer that the client firm uses is Brother HL1070.

I have looked at www.trayselector.com - would this be their answer?

Any help/pointers greatly appreciated.

FWIW, if they're using Word 97 or above, this should not be necessary
per se. If you use features unique to Word 2003, they will be stripped
out, but your recipients with an older version should still be able to
open up the files.

Actually, I'm not sure: the page itself doesn't really convince me the
Add-in will solve your problem (at least not w/o installing it on your
clients machines). But -- ask the manufacturer!
