Hi,

Im running Windows 2000 in a workgroup at home, the
username and password Im using is the same as the ones I
have on a Windows domain which I dial up too. When I
connect via the company RAS I am able to access the
network. However I cannot print to a printer which is run
from a Win 2000 print server I get the error message
access denied, although I can connect to it.

Because Im testing it at work when using a cat5 cable it
works fine. Can anyone help?

thanks

When you say you are connecting and "can access" the network through the
RAS, are you actually authenticating to the network (providing username,
password, and domain)? It may be that the printer has just "domain users"
permissions, not "everyone" permissions.

The permissions is already set to everyone full control,
and also the dialup group too. any other suggestions
