Printing Spool Problem

C

Charles

This Windows 2000 client computer is part of a LAN. This
computer has 250MB RAM and a 2.6 GHz processor. The
paging file is 1536MB. A HP Business Inkjet 2200 is
directly connected to this computer. Every time I try to
print, I get a window titled "Spool Directory Selection",
then belos it is a message that says "Insufficient disk
space in the current directory to spool the print file.
Please select another directory". What can cause this
problem, and how can I get rid of this message every time
I print?

1. the hard drive partition containing the spool file folder is nearly full.
The default location of the spool file directory is
%systemroot%\windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS (%systemroot% is the drive
letter for where Windows is installed and is normally c:\).

2. you do not have permission to write in the spool file directory. Check
the "security" on the spool file directory.
