Printing .snp files without prompting user for printer selection

I have a HUGE batch process application that runs on a Win2k machine. It
has trouble on .snp files. Any other file type (.doc, .xls, .pdf and etc)
print just fine...but when it hits a .snp file it prompts the user with a
SELECT PRINTER box. This doesn't work for me because this process runs at
night when no one is at the office and then it stalls all night long while
this box is on the screen.

In Windows Explorer I can go to Tools-> Folder Options -> File Types -> and
then find .SNP. However I don't know what to change the PRINT command line
to.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi Mark,

I can't think why a .snp would require you to select a printer, unless your
code requires it to.

You could try going into your report's design view, and select File, Page
Setup, then Page. Here you can set a default or specific printer. This might
help.

I don't know of a way to set a file type to print on a specfic printer, but
if you do could you post it up as I would have a use for it.
