Printing "Select pages" Not Working?

In Office Professional 2007's Word, I cannot print selected pages to work. If
I want to print say pages 16-22 of a 40 page document. and I make sure the
button is selected to do so, It still wants to start printing from page 1-40
like I didn't select anything. I needed to print Multiple copies of those
pages, but I couldn't even get ONE to print. I finally, due to being in a
bind, had to convert the document to PDF and print from Adobe! Any KB's or
anyone else experienced this problem?

If the document contains more than one section, you'll probably need to
include the section numbers; see the "Print specific pages and sections"
portion of the "Print a document" Help topic.

Thanks for the prompt answer!
The document came as a single 40 page "<name of doc>.doc" email. When I
opened the file, I could scroll down through all 40 pages, so I'm assuming
the file does not have sections. What I am doing, is printing legal
documents that the author requests multiple copies of certain pages out of
the file, Normally they send Me these files in PDF format, but this time it
came as DOC. The pages that were requested were pages 16-22. So when I went
to the print menu, I selected the button that says to print selected pages
with the format "16-22" vs 16,17, etc. Whether or not I told it to do 3
copies (number requested) or just 1, it still tried to print the entire file
from page 1. If the file contains sections, I couldn't tell it.

Being able to scroll through the document doesn't mean it doesn't have
sections. When you get to the end of the document, look at the status bar.
What is the number after "Sec"? If it's more than 1, the document has more
than one section.
