Printing Problems on XP

Paul.

I realise this may be a problem with the printer but its worth asking just
in case.

I have an HP Officejet V45 printer connected via USB to a XP PC. When ever
you send a large print or a number of small prints to the printer it gets so
far then stops with an error saying the document failed to print. I assume
this must be a buffering problem as if you send a small print there is not a
problem.

I have tried connected to a different USB port on the PC and it works ok
once then the same starts happening again.

Any idea's?

Thanks.

Try refreshing the printer driver from HP's web site.

Sorry Rob, I should have mentioned I have tried that.

OK. Well, now it's going to be hard work fix.

Maybe it's simply a flawed driver. Probably should report this problem
to HP.

Maybe the memory fills up, but doesn't then tell the computer to "stop"
.... your buffer hypothesis.
