Unable to print from DOS prompt or DOS based programs.
Print normal from windows based programs ?

Is your printer connected to a USB or a parallel port? Few, if any, DOS
programs know anything about USB.

Incidentally, it's getting harder to find printers that support printing
from DOS at all.
