When I print out my PowerPoint presentation in black and white, the text
boxes show up as a fine lined box. They are not visible when I print in
colour. Does anyone know how I can get rid of these? One of my colleagues
wants to be able to transfer them to overhead transparencies, and they don't
look good with the boxes around the wording.

Thank you.

Try changing the fill effects of the boxes to none. If a text box has a fill
effect, even if it's the same color at the background, it'll print as a line
around the text box in black and white view. Go to View>Color Grayscale>Pure
Black and White to find them all easily. I always make that part of a final
pass because sometimes I find hidden text like that!
