Printing of labels having small size

nandkumar nair

I have made a file in Access 2000 for printing labels.
Since these labels are of small size i.e. 2.5" x 4.0", I
changed the page setup accordingly. I selected a dot
matrix printer and then its properties for changing this
page setup.

Now I find that after every label, it is leaving a blank
page. In fact, while doing the print preview, I am
getting a message that "Section width is greater than the
page width and there are no items in the additonal space,
so some pages may be blank"

I reduced the section width, by placing the pointer on
the right edge of the section and dragging the pointer
left, very close to my text box. This is not solving my
problem. A blank page is still being left after every
label.

An example of my label is given below
Batch No./Lot No. : 10307305
Date : 29/07/03
Signature :

Could anyone please help

Nandkumar Nair,

The section width needs to be less than the page width
minus the left and right margin. The section width can be
found in design view, section properties.

I would also check the section's height (plus any
page/group headers) against the page height minus top and
bottom margins.

In the height dimension beware of any "can grow" controls
and sections (in fact switch can grow OFF until you have
fixed you problems).

HTH,

Terry
