Printing multiple slides on one handout page

How can I reduce the amount of space between the individual slides on a page and the margins at the page edge.

I am trying to print 9 slides per page. I want to reduce the amount of white space between the slide and around the page edge. I want to make each slide larger so it is easier to read.

The only way I know is to save your presentation as an image file, saying yes to
all slides, and then importing the images into a preformatted (as an example)
word document. I don't know how to change the default parameters for the 9
slides per page layout in PowerPoint

I highly recommend the use of a commercial add-in called Hand-out Wizard.
It allows for flexible placement of a variable number of slide miniatures,
page numbering outside of the slides borders and even placing the title of
each slide as a label.

I do not endorse products lightly, but this is one I use every week to print
20+ pages of 9 slide (3 x 3) hand-outs with slide numbering, background
graphics, a notes section, and misc. presentation information. It works.
(I am not affiliated with this product.)
