Printing MS DOS jobs in Windows

How do I do this?
I have a MS DOS application, and have been told that somewhere there is an
option to print MS DOS print jobs.
I've loaded print drivers PCL 5e and PCL 6 for a network Xerox 4500N printer.
However, I still can't print.
Do I need a local printer?
