Have you tried File, Open from within Word? You may need to have the
Word CD on hand if the original install did not call for the Works document
filters. Word will automatically install the filters.

Alternately, insert the floppy, open My Computer, and display the contents
of the floppy. Doubleclick on one of the Works documents and if you are
asked to specify what program to open it with, select Word from the list.
Again, you may need to have the Word or Office CD on hand to install the
filters if they aren't already installed.

Hi Jay,

I would try opening MS Word first, then go to File, Open. Change the
"Files of type(located at the bottom) to either All Files or Works 4.0
for Windows and try to open the files.

You can also get the Works 6.0 Converter found at:

Best of luck
