Printing Forms in Access

Hello,
I have a database w/ a number of forms that I constructed w/ Form
Headers/Footers. I've just discovered that these only print on the first and
last pages respectively. Do databases typically include Form Headers/Footers
(to see while actually in the database) AND Page Headers/Footers (for
printing if you want to see them on each printed page-- which I do)? Or is
it 'Best Practice' to put all that info. into the Detail section and not
bother w/ Headers/Footers of any kind?

Also, when I print multiple records, the top part of my 'Detail' section
gets printed at the bottom of the preceding record. Do I need to insert Page
Breaks at the bottom of my 'Detail' section or Page Footer to avoid this, or
is there another Property I can tweak?

Thanks.

I think you'll find that a "better" practice is to not use Forms for
printing. Although they do have "Page" Headers/Footers, they are designed
to optimize the on-screen view.

To get more control over what prints out, and where, use the same record
source you have for your Form in a Report. Reports are designed to optimize
the printed output.

Good afternoon

The best practice is not to print forms but rather to create a report to print
the required information.
