Printing Color Images in PDF or Internet Sites

This may just have begun to happen, but when I print a pdf file in b/w
or color that contains images, the images are almost entirely black. Is
there an XP setting I'm missing.

Oddly when I print a web page with colored images, all goes well.

It may depend on the application you are using for PDFs.

Brother 1440 b/w laser printer, and HP Photosmart 6180 color printer. If
you want to try it on one of the docs I used, go to

It's a five page manual, but you only need to print a colored page.
