printing broken rows/columns

howdy. When I print in excel 2003 the rows and columns break into a
progressive stair-step pattern seemingly climbing towards the top right
corner of the page. This doesn't show on the monitor or in the print preview.
This problem only occurs when I print an excel doc. Has anyone else
experienced this? If so, has anyone overcome this and how?

Many thanks.

Odd printing may be caused by the "Advanced Printing Features" in your
print driver. HP laser jets frequently do this. Open Printing
Preferences for your printer and look for Advanced button and then
"Advanced printing features" or "enhanced printing features", and
disable or turn off this item.
