Printing Attachment Rule

P

Paul Proefrock

We receive invoices in the form of an attachment from two different
companies. I have built a rule using Ornic's CaPrint to print only the
attachment and then move the email to a specific folder. One attachment is a
Word Document. The other is a PDF file. Either may be one or two pages long.

The rule works OK as far as moving the files but the printing fails on the
PDF's about 50% of the time. Seems that Outlook processes stuff too fast for
Adobe to catch and print the items.

I have emailed Ornic with the problem and gotten no response there. Does
anyone have any experience with this and other products. I am not opposed to
buying another add-in, but I prefer to get one that works.

I've tried different rules to try and slow down the process. I've tried
leaving Adobe running all the time. Neither seems to help.

I am open to any ideas

thanks

There are some attachment printing tools - I think all offer a 30 day trial
so you can see if they work for you.

http://www.slipstick.com/addins/auto.htm#special has a complete list - the
best known ones are from mapilab.com, sperrysoftware.com and rsoutlook.com
