Printers gone

My printers are no longer available and the printer
wizard does not function.
I am printing thorugh a home network. The other computers
do fine and the troubled computer can see the other
computers on hte network but, no printers and cannot add
any?
What to do?

Tried diagnostic start up. NG
Checked .dll's in the root directory. NG
Connected different printer direct to USB. NG
Reinstalled drivers. NG
Printer wizard does nothing. No dialog box. Nothing

Try restarting the print spooler.

From the command prompt, type

net start spooler

(and remember to hit enter)

Are they back now?

I have the same problem. It happens after I use windows
update. The updares installed were: 330994, and 818529.
I did try Cari's suggestion but no help.
