Printer Spooler in SBS 2000

B

Brian Beakes

Greetings,

Windows 2000 SBS server. Print jobs are not
automatically deleted after the job prints. Gave all
users, full control of the spool folder. No help. MOVED
the spool folder and gave EVERYONE, full control. No
help. Tried checking the "keep printed documents" box,
then applying, then unchecking and applying THEN
rebooting. Still no help....

I am stuck... Any ideas?

Is this happening for all printers? What print models are affected? After
the job has printed, is there any job status for the printed job (spooling ,
printed, send to printer) Is Enable Bidirectional checked in Print
Properties Ports? Change this, does that help.

Find the print spooler folder in the system32 folder and
right-click on it. Select properties. Make sure that the
read-only tick box under attributes is unticked. Also
check to see if the read-only tick box is unticked in the
folders within the spool folder
