printer Sharing

I have a HP LaserJet 1012 on my windows 98 PC. The PC,s are networked. I
want to share it with my
windows XP PC. Can this be done and how?

Share the printer on Windows 98. In Windows XP, connect to the Windows 98
machine and map the printer. The drivers will auto install.

Control pannel - printers - select printer - right clic - share and then
define a sharing name

It may be a little easier if you can plug the printer directly into the
Xp computer temporarily. Windows seems to have an easier time if it can
poll the hardware.. then that printer type will be on your short list
when you add it as a shared printer on the other computer.
