printer sharing problem

I have a Compaq Presario upstairs connected to a Linksys 2.4G Wireless Broadband Router and to an Xbox game system. Downstairs, I have another Presario with an EPSON Stylus CX5400 printer, scanner, copier connected to it. This downstairs PC links to the Linksys Router via a PCI card. I want to be able to print from the PC upstairs. I've already selected "share printer" on the downstairs PC, but the upstairs PC cannot seem to find the printer. Can you help? Thx.

which version of windows are you using on each machine?

It would make diag a little easier.
