Printer Sharing at Home Network

Hello,

We have 4 computers at my house, all connected via the router from our cable
modem. I am trying to set up printer sharing between 3 of the computers at
this time. The 2 computers with printers attached to them both use Windows
98, and seem to have no problem finding each other on the network and using
each other's printers. However, my computer uses Windows XP and cannot find
either computer on the network. I also noticed that both WIN98 computers
are running on the network using the client "Microsoft Family Logon," but my
XP computer doesn't even have that as an option under Properties in "Network
Connections." I tried to searching for/trying to install it off of my XP
disk, but it said it could not be found.

Any suggestions as to how I connect to these other computers on the network,
and their printers? As far as I can tell, my computer is set to the same
network name as the other 2(WORKGROUP)...

Thanks.

From my own experience, I have found that XP has very good network
support and 98 has fair support. However they seem to have some
reservations about talking to each other.

I have my printer and shared mirror drive on XP machines. The 98
machine has all kinds of problems getting settled in anytime there is any
kind of change to the network. It takes a lot of effort to get everything
talking again.

Sorry I don't have any specific suggestions, most of the time I am not
sure what the problems was, even after I fix it.
