Printer Sessions Not Dying...

T

Tim

My clients are using TS to access and print from an
application on the TS server. When their print session
has ended the "virtual printers" that are created from
their local printers are not destroyed. They continue to
build up to the point that bad things start to happen. Is
there a patch or hack that I'm missing that controls this
behavior? My server is fully patched as of today, 16 Feb
04.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the feedback.

I would like to help but from the description it is difficult to guess what
is happening.

So, userX with locally installed printerA connects to TS and inside the
session opens document and tries to print.

The printing job is created on the redirected printer
(printerA/Client_Name/Session9) and send to the client printer (printerA),
At this time the job is deleted from the server (session) and finally
printed on the client printer. At this time the job is deleted from the
client printer. UserX is disconnecting. This is the desired behavior.

Could you tell me at what point is your experience different from the
desired one?
