Printer not Deleting

We have 2 printers set up on our PDC that we no longer need. We have tried
to delete and the system has been showing that the printers are pending
deletion for over a day now. Nothing is showing up in the Event Viewer to
indicate the problem so I am open to suggestions.

Have you tried rebooting? Maybe a restart of the print spooler service will
do the trick.

We had this same problem. Open a command window and type in the
following:

net stop spooler && net start spooler

This seems to release that hold on the printers and you can
successfully delete them.
