I have 15 XP computers networked to one printer. every
time they try to print, a message comes up that says the
printer is low on ink. I hit the don't remind me button,
but it still comes up. The printer has ink. any
suggestions? Thanks!

Fill it with ink?

Do your printer cartridges have a little external circuit board attached? I
know on Epsons, there is a hard-coded date in the green circuit board
attached to the outside of the cartridge and the cartridge will stop working
after that date even if it's full of ink. Epson gets to sell you more
cartridges that way. Another possibility is that the bi-directional
communication may not work properly on a networked printer so it's not
reporting that actual ink level properly. Is the printer hooked directly to
the network or is it hooked to a PC and shared?

Does the printer know it has ink? My Canon i320 has to be told the ink
carts have been replaced. In fact, it asks if you did when you open
the lid.
