If my HP1220C printer chokes on paper or for some reason
I want to cancel the print job I bringup the Printer and
Fax window and select cancel for the job in progress as
the help and manual suggest.
The status changes to "deleting" but this may take 10
minutes or more. If there was a crash, the printer will
go through the pound of paper printing those useless
little on liners at the top of page. This happens even if
I turn the printer off and then back on.
How do I quickly stop the print cycle and flush the
buffers so I can get on with the job without feeding a
pound of paper through the mill?
