printer installation probllem

I am running win2000 sp4 and have not been able to successfully install
CanonBJC5100...
I get a msg, that it does not contain a microsoft digital signature...I
continue anyway and it finishes with the msg,
"Unable to install CanonBJC5100 Windows 2000, Intel driver. Operation could
not be completed."
There is no error on the Event viewer.
Is there a solution to this?

go to cannon website and download/use the latest driver for that printer.
