What are the principles behind making web pages printer friendly? I want
people to be able to print out web pages without the background. Ideally
avoiding mirror pages with background deleted and other adjustments, or is
this the only way? Michael Roberts

Create your "printable" page as a plain page w/o any background, nav etc
Then on your real page use Insert Web Component Include Page and browse to your printable page
Add a Print link on your page - say to a popup window pointing to the printable page
