Out of luck

My Lexmark Z65 has been working very well. This moring I
cannot turn the printer on. Of course, I get the errror
message, "cannot communicate with printer". I have
checked the USB connections which seem OK and plugged the
printer into an independent electrical outlet. Still
cannot turn the printer on.

Next step please.

Sounds like something has failed inside the printer. Which is, I'm afraid,
a job for your local printer technician, and not something we can deal with
on the newsgroup.

Check their prices BEFORE getting any work done. It's often cheaper in this
disposable age to throw it away and buy a new printer with a guarantee. Sad
but true.
