Printer disappears

I have windows xpw/sp2. Never had a promblem until I did a clen boot. Now
when I log off and get back on my print is gone. hp.I have to reinstall it
when I did it said ,No print spooler.I found out how to get that going. Now
thats fine. Well, my question is. How do I keep my print from disapearing
from the control panel and having to reinstall everytime I get on?

Since it's happened more than once, it sounds like the drivers have become
corrupted.... so uninstall and reinstall the printer.
