Hello All:
I purchased s siemens ss2624 router which has a print
server. The router works great and it can see my hp 930c
printer (the printer light on my router lights up).
However, when I use the siemens wizard to add a port to
my printer I get an error messege saying SCDA4844_p1
failed, add port failed. I then tried to add a port
manually, but I when I tried to add a shared port I got
the same message. I then tried to add a tcp/IP port but,
which it let me add, but the test page would not print.
I think this might be a port redirect problem, but I do
not know where to go from here. I am running windows xp
pro with all of the updates. Could there be a bad dll
file in my system? I also tried to disable the
bidirectional print and print spooling, but that did not
work. Please help me!
