Is this a question? *.prn files are binary files and these files depend
on the default printer being installed. If these files are always empty,
there is no (adequate) printer installed most likely.
I am having the same problem and when i go to an installed printer or install
a new one, i click on the printer properties to print a test page, it asks
for a file name then produces an empty file.
Hello. I've got the same problem whatever printer I install in my Windows XP
