Print Spooler Service

I am running Windows 2000 Professional and am experiencing
Print Spooler problems. The Print Spooler Service
constantly terminates unexpectedly whenever I attempt to
add, delete or just do anything with printers. I have
tried reinstalling Windows 2K SP4 (no change). Any
assisantance would be appreciated.
