print spooler not working

usb printer lexmark z22 stoped working tried to reinstall
drivers but won't install message says RPC Error tryed to
manualy start spooler with dos command C:\documents and
settings\adninistrator>net start spooler . it returned a
message: system error 1068 has occurred.the dependency
service or group failed to start.

Uninstall everything as per Bruce Sanderson's instructions at:

http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm

Pay particular to his special section on Lexmark printers.

Reboot at the end, download a new set of drivers from www.lexmark.com and
reinstall the software BEFORE connecting the printer.
