1. alt-prt scrn
2. open paint
3. edit paste
4. print from paint

all prt screen or alt-prt screen does is capture the
window to the clipboard.... pasting it into an app like
paint allows you to print it.

When I first got my Windows XP I came across a way of
toggling the PRINT SCRN on and off. After I enabled the
key I could print the screen just by pressing PRINT SCRN.
After a system failure I reinstalled all files as from
factory and I cannot now remember how to enable. The help
and index are as much use as a chocolate fireguard!

If you have a keyboard with an F-Lock key, you may have to engage it before
the Print Screen key will work.

Also if pasting to a newer version of an Office program that utilizes the
Office clipboard, open the Office program before doing your screenshot.
