print screen

I use the print screen button often at work… One time I copied an active
window by pressing the ALT+PRINT SCREEN and when I pasted (i.e. Ctrl-V) to MS
Word document the text only appeared, not the active window (??)… This is a
cool feature but I am not sure what command I selected accomplish this… Does
anyone no how to do this?

Hi

Use MSPaint to import the image (Ctrl + V), then click on 'Save As'.

In MS Word, possibly Edit | Paste Special

Or you did not capture the Alt+ Print Scr like you thought you did and you
merely pasted some text that was already in the Clipboard.

Hope this helps. Let us know.
