Print problem

I have a document that I tried to delete in the print que. The status shows
"deleting" but it is just hanging there, doing nothing, keeping me from
printing other documents.

"deleting" but it is just hanging there, doing nothing, keeping me from
printing other documents.  

An HP help file suggested unplugging the USB cable to the printer,
then plugging it in. It worked for me. (Deletion of print-queue items
rarely succeeds.)
