print preview black and white

I am 99.9% certain that there is no way to do this.

Try setting your default printer to one that doesn't print color - a
monochrome laser for example.
 
If there is color in the document, Print Preview will still display color.
My default printer is a monochrome laser, and I see color in all my
documents.
