Print multiple documents in word

I wish to print several word 2003 documents in one print session.
In word 97 I would simply select these files - right click on one of them
and click the print option. This does not work in word 2003

Any suggestions please ?

This should be working, unless something has happened to the file
associations in Windows.

See if this helps:

On the taskbar, click Start | Run. Type

winword /r

and press Enter. (Note the space before "/".)

I believe it will work from Windows Explorer but not from an Explorer window
(Open, Save) within Word itself.

Hmm, I assumed the OP was trying to print via Windows Explorer. I've
never tried printing from within the Open or Save As dialog box; then
I'd rather print directly using Ctrl+P.

You can't print multiple documents using Ctrl+P, and this is what the OP was
trying to do. Printing from the Open dialog was possible in Word 97, but the
feature became broken in some later version.

I meant to write, "I'd rather print directly using Ctrl+P
*repeatedly*."

Well, this is what I do, too, of course, but occasionally users apparently
have to print dozens or hundreds of documents and look for a way to automate
the process.
