Print Layout View

I am not really a new user, but suddenly when I am using Word 2003 in Print Layout View there is a gray graph-paper like grid behind the text. How do I get rid of it? I have no idea where it came from.

Hi, Linda. In Word, if the Drawing toolbar is not visible, display it by clicking on View | Toolbars | Drawing. On the Drawing toolbar, click on Draw | Grid | uncheck the "Display gridlines on screen" box.

Linda, on the Drawing toolbar (View > Toolbars > Drawing), click the Draw
button, then Grid. Uncheck Display Gridlines on Screen, OK.
