Print Dialouge not showing in Internet explorer

When trying to print from Internet Explorer (and outlook express) the print
dialouge does not come up when clicking print or selecting print from the
file menu. The system acts as if the button was never pushed. All other
programs installed on the system can print. System is Adware and Virus free
and Service pack 2 has been installed. I have tried to repair Internet
Explorer using the SFC function but nothing has come of that.
