I made a goof on access and now i'm having trouble getting the icon
back, here is what happened:

1. i right clicked the menu tab and selected customize
2. I then used my mouse and clicked "file" and scrolled and single
clicked the 'print...' option and dragged it to the menu bar

3. when i was finished i repeated number 1 above, then i clicked the
'print...' icon on the menu bar and dragged it away to where the
little x appears and let go and it disappeared.

4. NOW the file: print... option is missing completely, i've done
customize: toolbars: reset, i've done customize: options: reset menu
and toolbar usage data and print... is still missing when you click
FILE. What have i done!!!!! How do i get that option back.

Note that this is not PRINT - when you click the print icon it spools
to your default printer, what is missing is the print... that when you
click it allows you to select an alternate printer

I FOUND THE SOLUTION MY SELF!!!!!!!

Right click the menu bar, select 'customize'
click the 'toolbars' tab then select 'properties'
for 'selected toolbar' select 'menu bar'
THEN click restore defaults ... approve/ok and its there
again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do i get that option back.

You should be able to simply right click-customize.

Make **SURE** you select "menu bar" BEFORE you click on the reset button.

The above should work.

you can also hit ctrl-g and in the debug window type in:

commandbars("menu bar").Reset

Either way this should work. You also need to make sure you hold down the
shift key when you startup the database in case in the startup options you
set the disabled menu bar changes....

Try both of the above....
