Print both sides

Anyone know of a little app that will let me print both sides of a sheet
of paper?

You mean two pages side by side or on both sides of the same sheet ?

I print first all of the even pages, than manually turn the stock of
printed pages and print the odd pages on the back. You have to try out
which way the printer prints.

You did not specify, but the simplest freeware is called TxtPrint,
available from a Swedish source, no longer supported, but still
available online in a few places.

This small jewel deals only with TEXT files, but it allows the
user to print multiple pages in booklet format, choose fonts,
page numbering, etc. You have to know your printer, in that
you must manually print only even numbered pages first (or odd),
then stack your papers correctly for feeding through the printer
again for getting the backsides printed with the continuing
numbers in correct sequence. A small learning curve.

Why learn a new program? Word allows you to do the same thing, and
you're not limited to text files. I know it's $ware, but a lot of
people already have it installed.
