Print a Report to PDF

I have created a report, and I would like to have a command button that would
open a print dialog so that the user can choose to print the report to any
printer they should choose, including a PDF.

I was able to create a command button in a FORM, but could not do the same
in the REPORT. I am familiar with macros in programs such as Word, but they
are not the same in Access.

How can I accomplish this?

Thanks!

What version of Access do you have? I understand that 2007 (which I do not yet
have installed) has native PDF support, but for older versions you'll need a
third-party PDF print driver. There are several, some of them free; do a
google search for PDF printer. Given that, you can print to a pdf file just
like you would print to any printer; it will be one of the printers offered.

Yes, I have Access 2007. You are still able to bring up the print dialog box
and choose "Print to PDF" in 2007 version, but I have a client that wants to
have an actual button on the Report that would do the work for them and just
autmatically print to PDF. I was able to use the command button feature to
accomplish a print in a form, but it did not open the print dialog to choose
a printer or copies. It just printed immediately to the default printer.

I know there is a way to create a button to print directly to PDF, I just
can't seem to get there. Any help is much appreciated!! :)

Well, I wish I could help but I don't have 2007 installed. I'd suggest you
repost in the microsoft.public.access.reports newsgroup specifying that you
have 2007.
