Print a large image over several pages

I want to print an image that is larger then 8.5x11 sheet of paper. Basically
I want the image to print our over several sheets, then I can tape them all
together to get the large image.

I'm not sure if powerpoint is the best program to use for this.... But if it
was me I'd try the following.

Either put the image onto one slide, and then when you print....

file > print > printer properties.... have a look around the options as some
printer drivers have the option to automatically print your one page over X
x Y pages.

Or

Manually create several page in powerpoint, and make the image BIGGER than
one slide, then manually move the image across each slide, then print as
normal.
