Pring Preview Problems

Marisa

When I am working on a page, the margins start extremly close to the edge
of the paper. when i click print preview the margins start at least an inch
and a half away from the edge. Basically, what i am looking at is different
from the way it prints out.

someone please help me!

It might be because you are viewing the document in "text width" mode rather
than in "page width" mode. Check your view options (the one that shows the
percent) and change to page width.

that didnt work :(

print layout view is different from the print preview.

it has to be a formatting issue, im just not sure how to fix it.

Does the document contain any tracked changes or comments? If so, Word is
allowing extra space for the markup "balloons."

Display the Reviewing toolbar. Click the arrow beside Accept Change and
choose Accept All Changes in Document. Click the arrow beside Reject
Change/Delete Comment and choose Delete All Comments in Document. Now what
do you see in Print Preview?

The print preview displays what the printer driver will allow when
associated with the current page setup. It may not be possible to set a
narrower margin if you are using a non-standard page size and most printers
will not in any case print to the edge of the paper.
If you set all the margins to zero you will get an error message on leaving
the dialog. Use that dialog to fix the error and the minimum margins for
that page size will be set.
