Primary Slave harddrive installation

Chip, did you go into the Bios and make sure that the
Second Drive is set
to AutoDetect?

Yes I checked and it is set to auto detect.

Intstalled second harddrive. Harddrive works fine. But
when I reboot computer Windows XP Home version tells me
it found a found new hardware, disk drive. The found new
hardware wizard says an error occured during installation
of the device. The specified service dose not exist as an
installed service. The device manager, disk drives, my
second drive(Maxtor 6L060J3),general tab states the
drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28) To
reinstall the drivers for this device click Reinstall
Driver. How can I get rid of this error code 28?

Yes I checked the BIOS and it is set to auto detect. Any
other suggestions please?
