primary DNS suffix ?

I tried to correct the spelling of my name on the computer
and it ask what my primary DNS suffix was. I did not know
and now it says a dynamic link library (dll) has failed
and I can't get into user accounts. Help me please.
Also, where do I find the replies to the questions I ask?
