vista is the most horrible modern OS ever made.

After reading all that I personally would conclude hardware problems, most
likely a defective RAM stick.

I've installed Vista on many machines and while I've run into some problems,
usually with old hardware that the manufacturer refuses to update drivers
for, I've never run into a machine with that much wrong that didn't have
some hardware issue.

It is noted that the computer was HP preinstalled with Windows Vista
and it failed to perform properly from the beginning.
However that FACT goes against your blind agenda.
Instead of placing blame where it lies with HP for not providing a
well working system, you blindly blame Microsoft.
It is a HP computer and thus it is up to HP to resolve.
whether it is a bad installation, defective hardware, insufficient
hardware etc.

Windows Vista.
Instead Windows Vista performs well on two older computers of mine.
FACTS you are unable to disprove.

I know how they work. Been off on the ng's since at least 93 or so...was on
Fidonet and other things prior to that. Back then it was the Microsofties
and OS/2bers flaming each other...hehehe

Was just trying to get a little peace and quiet until the next ID
