When I went to edit a word document, I errantly clicked "save" instead of "save as" and replaced the original document which I did not want to do. Is there any way to retrieve the original now that it's been written and saved over? Thanks in advance.

If you have "Always create backup copy" enabled on the Save tab of Tools |
Options, then look for the previous version as "Backup of <filename>.wbk" in
the same folder (you'll have to display All Files to see it).
